Kristan Carlton
Inspire Benefit Consultants
Kristan is a licensed insurance agent since 2021. She graduated from Tulsa Community College with her Associates in Business Adminstration and has been tackling the business world ever since. Before moving to her role at Inspire Benefit Consultants, she worked as an Office Manager for a multi-site pediatric therapy clinic. Her previous management skills and knowledge as a provider gives her a fresh approach to managing benefits.
Kristan enjoys being active in Tulsa NABIP and is working towards her Registered Employee Benefits Consultant Designation.
Outside of work, Kristan is an avid outdoorsman who loves to go camply, fishing, and hunting with her husband and two kids.

James Ashford
Vision Care Direct of Oklahoma
Mr. Ashford is the Regional Director for Vision Care Direct. His territory is Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Texas. He has been with Vision Care Direct for over 13 years. Vision Care Direct provides a vision plan as an employee benefit with several advantages over traditional insurance options. He also is the co-owner of an agency (Verus Benefits) that works as a consultant to other brokers helping with Level-Funded, Self-Funded accounts. Mr. Ashford is active with the Oklahoma State Chamber and serves on the Board of Directors and works closely with the chamber board and staff on all issues related to Health Insurance. He considers himself an advocate for our industry as the majority of representation at the state capital comes from large carriers and hospital systems.
James attends Riveted Church in Skiatook and volunteers monthly doing free eye exams at the Tulsa Day Center. He serves on the fundraising committee for Vizavance a Non-Profit Organization that provides vision screenings at no cost in schools in all 77 counties.

Theresa Clagg
TASC
For 7 years Theresa has worked as the Regional Sales Director for TASC and works with brokers in Oklahoma and NW Arkansas. She has served on the State Board as Membership Chair for 6 years as well as the Oklahoma City Chapter where she currently serves as the 2023-2024 President. She found her passion for servant leadership years ago when a professional development coach said, while looking for your passion in life, just go serve someone, your passion will find you. That's what she did and that's where she remains today, serving with the benefit and insurance proffessionals in her region, while helping them serve their clients and their employees.
